Workshops for teachers in all aspects of music instruction.

The New York Pops Professional Development workshops provide teachers from New York City public schools with workshops in a variety of musical styles.  The focus can be on fundamental teaching and playing techniques for each instrument, tips for addressing and solving musical issues confronting your music students, sight reading skills, instrument maintenance “How to” and suggestions for specific repertoire and resources.
