School groups are invited behind the
scenes to watch working rehearsals of
The New York Pops at Carnegie Hall.
Few things excite a child’s imagination more
than being part of the creative process. The New York
Pops invites children to attend working rehearsals of
the orchestra to see first-hand how the concerts are
put together. Children are invited through their schools,
community centers, clubs or community service organizations.
Once at Carnegie Hall, they attend rehearsal, then have
the opportunity to quiz the conductor, guest artists
and orchestra musicians in a question-and-answer session.
