Free Programs

The New York Pops offers free music-making and concert-going experiences to students across New York City.

Free programs include:

Kids in the Balcony
Throughout the concert season, over 1400 children receive free tickets to see The New York Pops in concert at Carnegie Hall.

Salute to Music
The New York Pops offers 16 weeks of free music lessons to junior high students and the opportunity to perform with the orchestra at Carnegie Hall.

New York Summer Music Festival
Five select students from the Salute to Music program receive full scholarships to attend the New York Summer Music Festival.
